Student Life… a bit of a strange experience at the moment! Its exciting being here but at the same time its scary being away from home! Luckily I’m in a house with really nice girls, and we all get on! There are 2 Physio’s (Vic-the Token Geordie! And Amy) a sports therapist (Natalie) a girl on my course (Lori) and a girl doing Forensic science (Elisise). We have been out every night so far together and all seem like we have known each other for ages!
As many of you probably know, I have been feeling quite homesick!! But it isn’t all the time! My day goes something like this….. Wake up feel homesick, but don’t cry!!, go to uni, have some lunch, come home about 4ish, talk with the others go and have a bit of a rest and watch some telly, feel homesick, so have to ring mum then I do cry!! Hehe and then after that I’m fine and we go out! I know I’m silly! I just can’t help it!
I had my first visitors on Tuesday! Andrew and Michelle popped round for a cuppa! It was really nice to see some familiar face’s and get a hug!!!
Next week, we have got Timmy Mallet and Chesney Hawkes coming! Not at the same time though!! So they should be really good! There has been loads of offers on at all the pubs, and I’ve now got so many discount cards its silly!! Not that I’m complaining!
So, all in all, I’m enjoying it, but just finding it a little hard being away from home! I will blog again soon when I get more information about my course etc…..xxxx :)
